The main changes are as follows, compared with FZ/T 01026-1993. - The Standard name is changed to Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis. Quaternary fiber mixtures; - The correction coefficient d of fiber mass variation shall be conducted according to provisions of each part in GB/T 2910. - Deleted reagents, instruments and specimen preparation (chapter 4, chapter 5, chapter 6 and 7.1 in edition 1993); - Added the graphic illustration to dissolution procedure; - Modified three kinds of calculation formula; - Modified Annex A (deleted quaternary fiber mixtures and adopted reagents and correction coefficient in edition 1993; added examples for the mass fraction calculation of quaternary fiber mixtures); - Modified Annex B (deleted quaternary fiber mixtures; added agents and correction coefficient in edition 1993; added methods used to analyze the content of quaternary fiber mixtures); - Deleted Annex C. Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis – Quaternary fiber mixtures 1 Scope This Standard specifies the quantitative chemical analysis of textiles - quaternary fiber mixtures. This Standard applies to the content analysis of textiles - quaternary fiber mixtures. 2 Normative references The articles contained in the following documents have become part of this document when they are quoted herein. For the dated documents so quoted, all subsequent modifications (including all corrections) or revisions made thereafter do not apply to this Standard. However, the parties who reach an agreement according to this Standard are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents may be used. For the undated documents so quoted, the latest versions (including all modification sheets) apply to this document. GB/T 2910 (All parts) Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis 3 Principles After conducting qualitative identification to the fraction of mixtures, use appropriate pretreatment method to remove non-fibrous materials; select appropriate reagent to dissolve one or more fraction fibers in the mixture; calculate the mass fraction of each fraction fiber with the mass lost in dissolution or the mass of remaining fiber. Unless there are technical difficulties, it is best to remove fiber fraction with large content to make the fiber fraction with less content to be the last insoluble residue. 4 Reagents and equipment Use the equipment and reagents specified in GB/T 2910.1. 5 Atmospheres for conditioning and testing 9.3 Calculation of rate of correction factor of mass loss of each fraction in the preprocessing after being corrected with official moisture regain See 8.3. 10 Comprehensive analysis method of manual decomposition and chemical analysis Where possible, manual decomposition method (described in Annex B in GB/T 2910.1-2009) shall be used to calculate the proportion of each fraction before any one of chemical analysis is used to separate each fraction. 11 Test report The test report shall include the following contents. a) Use methods in this Standard; b) Determination result of all fractions or single fraction of mixture; c) That special treatment is used to remove pulp or finishing agents shall be described in detail; d) The result and arithmetic mean and shall accurate to 0.1; e) It shall be noted that the above results are based on. - Net and dry mass percentage; - Percentage combined with official moisture regain; - Percentage of fiber loss lost in official moisture regain and preprocessing; - Include official moisture regain and percentage of fiber loss lost in preprocessing; - Include official moisture regain and percentage of removal rate of non-fibrous materials. The compositions of mixed textile (net and dry mass )are as follows. Wool 3.8% Polyamide 31.2% Viscose 29.4% Cotton A.2 Program 2 A.2.1 Overview Qualitative analysis showed that the mixture consists of wool, silk, polyacrylonitrile fibers and cotton. When using program 2, take two samples, dissolve silk (B), polyacrylonitrile fiber(C) and cotton (D) in the first sample; dissolve cotton (A), silk (B) and then dissolve polyacrylonitrile fiber(C) in the second sample. The test result is as follows. a) The dry weight of the first sample after preprocessing . m1=1.428 4 g; b) After the first sample is treated by sulfuric acid, the dry weight of remaining fiber (cotton) r1= 0.372 1g; c) The dry weight of the second sample after preprocessing. m2=1. 420 0g; d) After the second sample is treated by the sodium hypochlorite, the dry weight of remaining fiber (polyacrylonitrile fiber + cotton). r2= 0.655 5 g; e) After the second sample is treated by the sodium hypochlorite, the dry weight of remaining fiber (polyacrylonitrile fiber + cotton). r2= 0.655 5 g; e) After the second sample is treated by dimethylformamide, the dry weight of remaining fiber (cotton). r3= 0.356 1 g; Sulfate to wool d1= 0.985 There is no mass loss of alkaline sodium hypochlorite to polyacrylonitrile fiber d2=1.00 and to cotton d3=1.03×1.01=1.04. Dimethylformamide to cotton d1= 1.01. Therefore dimethylformamide to cotton after being treated by sodium hypochlorite and dimethylformamide reagent d4= 1.03×1.01=1.04.
