1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements and test methods for electropneumatic hemostatic devices. This document applies to electro-pneumatic compression blocking hemostatic equipment in limb surgery. This document does not apply to hemostatic equipment specially used for femoral artery hemostasis, nor does it apply to passive manual inflatable hemostatic equipment. Refer to this document as applicable.

3 Definitions and Terminology
