1 Scope

This standard specifies the tantalum pentoxide requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (Or orders) content. This standard applies to liquid - liquid extraction method were tantalum pentoxide, for the production of tantalum powder and tantalum carbide bars and other purposes.
