3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Cigarette capsule The capsule material used in the filter rod for cigarettes can release the contents wrapped therein after the wall material is broken (cracked) under the action of external force. 3.2 Crush strength The pressure on a popping bead sample or a popping bead in a cigarette or filter rod sample when it is squeezed and burst (broken) under specified conditions.
