1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of aziridine content of wood and wood products by gas chromatography - flame ionization detector (GC-FID) determination. This standard applies to the determination of aziridine content in wood and wood products.

2 principle

The sample was extracted by methanolic solvent and determined by Gas Chromatography (GC-FID) with flame ionization detector and quantified by external standard method.

3 Reagents and materials

3.1 methanol, CH3OH, chromatographic purity. 3.2 aziridine, C2H5N purity of not less than 99.5%. 3.3 aziridine standard stock solution, accurately weighed 100mg aziridine (3.2) in 50mL volumetric flask, dissolved with an appropriate volume of methanol, The resulting solution concentration of.2000mg/L, placed in a refrigerator under the conditions of less than 4 ℃ sealed, valid for six months. 3.4 Helium, purity not less than 99.999%.
