1 Scope

This part of SN/T 4675 specifies the determination of 2,3-butanediol in wine by gas chromatography. This section applies to the determination of 2,3-butanediol content in wine.

3 Method summary

The sample was purified on a graphitized carbon black column, diluted with ethanol, measured by a gas chromatography-hydrogen flame ionization detector, and quantified by an external standard method.

4 Reagents and materials

Unless otherwise specified, all reagents are of analytical grade and water is a grade of water specified in GB/T 6682. 4.1 Absolute ethanol (C2H6O). Chromatographically pure. 4.2 Ethanol solution (9 1, volume ratio).
