1 Scope

This part of SN/T 4542 specifies an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the determination of tylosin residues in royal jelly and royal jelly. This section applies to the screening and determination of tylosin residues in royal jelly and royal jelly powder.

3 Method summary

This section uses acidic sodium heptane sulfonate buffer to extract the residual tylosin from royal jelly, and precipitates the protein in royal jelly and adjusts it. After pH to 7.0 treatment, the residual tylosin in the sample competes with the enzyme-labeled tylosin for binding to the sheep coated on the microplate. Rabbit antibody, the unbound tylosin and the enzyme-labeled tylosin are removed by washing, then the substrate is added for color development, and the absorbance is measured by a microplate reader. The content of tylosin in the sample is determined based on the absorbance.
