1 Scope

This standard specifies the import and export of wood products of cadmium, lead and mercury content measured by atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of wood products in cadmium, lead and mercury.

3 Method summary

After sample digestion with nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide complete digestion solution Determination of cadmium, lead by flame atomic absorption spectrometry, digestion liquid measuring mercury Given by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry.

4 Reagents

Unless otherwise indicated, the reagents used were of analytical grade, the water at least up to GB/T 6682 provisions of secondary purity distilled or deionized Sub-water requirements. 4.1 Concentrated nitric acid (ρ = 1.42g/mL). 4.2 Concentrated hydrochloric acid (ρ = 1.19g/mL). 4.3 Hydrogen peroxide (37%). 4.4 with dilute nitric acid (5%). 4.5 potassium dichromate solution. 10g/L. 4.6 Stannous chloride solution.200g/L. Weigh 20.0g stannous chloride, dissolved in 50mL hydrochloric acid (4.2), and transferred to 100mL volumetric flask, Diluted with water to volume, and mix. More than 4.7 mercury absorption solution. [potassium permanganate solution (10g/L) and sulfuric acid solution (1.8mol/L) mixed in equal volumes]. Cadmium 4.8 Standard solution. 1000μg/mL. 4.9 Cadmium standard solution. 10μg/mL. pipette Pipette 1mL cadmium standard solution (4.8) in 100mL volumetric flask, dilute nitric acid (4.4) and dilute to volume, shake. 4.10 Lead standard solution. 1000μg/mL. 4.11 Lead standard solution. 10μg/mL. pipette Pipette 1mL lead standard solution (4.10) in 100mL volumetric flask, dilute nitric Acid (4.4) and dilute to volume, shake. 4.12 Mercury standard solution. Weigh 0.1354g previously dried over phosphorus pentoxide 24h mercury dichloride, dissolved in a little water, and 50mL Nitric acid (4.1), 10mL potassium dichromate solution (4.5), water volume 1000mL, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 100μg mercury (this standard reservoir Preparation was valid for five months).
