1 Scope

This standard specifies the atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of cadmium in import and export barite. This standard applies to the determination of cadmium content in import and export barite. The range is from 0.00004% to 0.0018%.

3 Method summary

After the sample is digested, it is introduced into an atomic absorption spectrophotometer to atomize and absorb the cadmium 228.8 nm resonance line at a certain concentration. Within the circumference, the absorption value is proportional to the cadmium content, and the cadmium content is determined by comparing it with the cadmium standard series.

Accurately weigh 1.0000g metal cadmium, place it in a 150mL beaker, add 30mL hydrochloric acid (4.2), cover The watch glass is heated on the hot plate until it is completely dissolved. Remove it, wash the watch glass and the cup wall with water, cool to room temperature, and transfer to 160 mL of nitric acid. Valid for half a year. 4.10 Glass containers. all soaked with nitric acid (4.6) for more than 24 hours, rinsed with deionized water, dried, and set aside.
