This standard applies to the purity greater than 98.00% (mass fraction), propane, propylene, isobutane, n-butane, trans-2-butene, 1-butene, cis-2-butene, propyne, 1,3 -Butadiene, n-pentane, isopentane and other hydrocarbon impurities content not less than 0.0010% (mass fraction) of industrial isobutylene determination. Since this standard cannot determine all possible impurities such as oxygenated compounds, isobutylene dimer, water, etc., other test methods are required to fully characterize isobutylene samples.
