Summary: This standard specifies the L-60-1 testing machine oil on the assessment of automotive manual transmissions and rear axle oil thermal oxidation stability test methods. This test method is developed with reference to L-60 test. This method is often used to determine the manual transmission and rear axle lubricant under oxidizing conditions at high temperatures increase the viscosity of oil, insoluble generation and deposition. This standard method does not mention the course of the existence of security problems. Responsibility of the user of this method to take appropriate safety and protective measures, and to develop appropriate rules and regulations prior to use.
