Summary: This standard specifies the gas chromatographic determination of motor gasoline and aviation gasoline benzene and toluene content approach. Determination of the range of benzene 0. 1% (V/V) ~ 5% (V/V), toluene content of 2% (V/V) ~ 20% (V/V). The precision of the standard applicable to regular gasoline containing ether oxygen-containing compound (example: methyl tert-butyl ether, ethyl tert-butyl ether, methyl tert-amyl ether) of gasoline. This standard uses the 1, 2, 3 tris (2 cyano-ethoxy) propane (TCEP) packed columns do not apply to gasoline containing ethanol, methanol may also cause interference. Using modified polyethylene glycol (FFAP) capillary analytical column, the methanol and ethanol interference obvious ^ (1]).
