Summary: This standard specifies the use UV spectrophotometry jet fuel naphthalene, acenaphthene and their alkyl derivatives (naphthalene hydrocarbons, the same below) content approach. This standard applies to final boiling point of not higher than 315 jet fuel volume content of not more than 5% of naphthalene hydrocarbon content. However, in the inter-laboratory precision of the method to determine when the test sample A in the degree of naphthalene hydrocarbon concentration ranging from 0. 03% to 4. 25% (volume fraction), test sample B in the degree of naphthalene hydrocarbon concentration range of 0. 08% 5. 6% (volume fraction). This standard may be present in the sample can be measured in the maximum content of naphthenic hydrocarbons. This standard adopts the International System of Units. This standard relates to certain hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but did not hold all of the safety concerns, if any. Therefore, the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and necessary protective measures, and establish appropriate safety procedures. Refer to special risk prompts 8. 1 and 8. 2.
