1 Scope

This standard specifies the quality indicators, testing methods and inspection rules for sprayer (machine) operations. This standard applies to the sprayer (device) for the ground mass spray, low volume spray and ultra low spray operation quality assessment.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1 Conventional spray A spray of not less than 450L per hectare. 3.2 Low volume spray The amount of fluid applied per hectare is less than 450L and is greater than 7.5L of spray. 3.3 Ultra low volume spray A spray of no more than 7.5 L per hectare. 3.4 Working width Orthogonal to the effective spray width in the direction of advancement of the job. 3.5 Liquid coverage The area of the conventional amount spray covering the crop leaf surface as a percentage of the total area of the leaf surface. 3.6 Droplet deposition density Low spray and ultra low spray deposition of droplets per unit area of the crop. 3.7 Fog distribution uniformity The uniformity of the distribution of the sprayed droplets on the surface of the work area.
