1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model preparation methods, basic parameters of the hand-held electric lawn trimming machine (hereinafter referred to as trimming machine). Technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard is applicable to the use of mains power supply under normal environmental conditions, non-metallic fiber ropes for cutting parts or non-metallic knives for free rotation. It is an electric lawn trimming machine with cutting parts and kinetic energy of no more than 10J, which is held by a standing operator for mowing. This standard does not apply to trimming machines for scissors or rigid blades.
