This standard replaces LY/T 1084-1993 "Maoyangmei gum". Compared with LY/T 1084-1993, the main changes of this standard are as follows. --- Removed the terminology of light colored silicone; --- Revised the level of technical indicators, and changed the special, first and second grades into superior products, first-class products, and qualified products; --- Removed the level of "light color silicone" in the technical indicators, and combined the "light color" and "ordinary" of "special grade" into "excellent products"; --- Removed the requirement for "non-tannin" in the technical requirements; --- Adjusted the value of the "Tanning" indicator in the technical indicators; --- Increased the rules for inspection classification, inspection items, and group approval rules in inspection rules; --- Revised the rules for the determination rules and re-inspection rules in the inspection rules; --- Modified the requirements for packaging, marking, storage and transportation. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, storage and transportation of Maoyangmei silicone. Powdered silicone, mainly used in tanning.
