Introduction

This specification is based on JJF 1071-2010 "Rules for the Compilation of National Metrology and Calibration Specifications" and JJF 1059.1-2012 The requirements of "Evaluation and Expression of Measurement Uncertainty" shall be compiled. This specification is based on the reciprocity method, referring to GB/T 19800-2005 "Non-destructive testing of acoustic emission testing transducers" First-level calibration" and Japan’s non-destructive testing industry standard NDIS2109-2004 "Using reciprocity technology for acoustic emission sensors Absolute Calibration" was established. This specification is released for the first time. Acoustic emission sensor calibration specification (reciprocity method)

1 Scope

This specification applies to the reciprocal calibration of piezoelectric acoustic emission sensors with a frequency range of 100kHz to 1MHz.

2 Reference documents

This specification refers to the following documents. JJF 1001 General measurement terms and definitions JJF 1034 Acoustic measurement terms and definitions GB/T 3102.7 Acoustic quantities and units GB/T 12604.4-2005 Non-destructive testing terminology Acoustic emission testing GB/T 19800-2005 Non-destructive testing Acoustic emission testing transducer primary calibration NDIS2109-2004 Absolute calibration of acoustic emission sensors using reciprocity technology For dated reference documents, only the dated version applies to this specification; for undated reference documents, The latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this specification.

3 Terms and units of measurement

This specification adopts the quantities and units specified in GB/T 3102.7. JJF 1001, JJF 1034, GB/T 19800-2005 and GB/T 12604.4-2005 and below Terms and definitions apply to this specification. 3.1 Acoustic emission The phenomenon of transient elastic wave generated by the rapid release of energy inside the material. 3.2 Test block It has an isotropic and homogeneous elastic material block. 3.3 Principle of Electroacoustic Reciprocity A linear, passive and reversible electro-acoustic transducer whose voltage sensitivity when used as a receiver is the same as when used as a transmitter The ratio of the transmission current response at time is independent of the structure of the transducer. 3.4 Acoustic emission sensor sensitivity The output voltage per unit of mechanical input (displacement, velocity, acceleration).
