3 Overview

The hob inspector is a special instrument for checking the quality of the gear hob. The measuring principle is the actual measurement of the gear hob to be tested. The shape is compared to the standard motion of the instrument drive chain, and the difference is the actual deviation of the hob. instrument The standard motion is synthesized by three basic motions, namely the rotation of the main shaft, the axial and radial movement of the sensor.
