This part is the first part of GY/T 202. Please note that some parts of this part of GY/T 202 may involve patents. Introduction

This section is based on the digital and networked development of China's radio and television industry and the needs of media asset management applications. The experience of video stations, audiovisual data management departments, and radio and television equipment development suppliers in cataloging audiovisual materials is based on international electronic resources. It is the DC (Dublin Core) metadata standard of the main description object, which is determined after repeated research and repeated trial indexing. This section determines the basic metadata items of the catalog through research, and develops a unified cataloging structure, hierarchy, and work of the TV data catalog metadata. 1 Scope

This part of GY/T 202 specifies the descriptive items (metadata) for the cataloguing of television materials, the rules for using the descriptive items, and the data expression methods. formula.
