1 Scope

This standard specifies the general rules for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic and inorganic substances by infrared spectrometer. This standard applies to infrared spectrum analysis with wavenumbers ranging from 7800cm-1 to 350cm-1 (wavelength 1.28μm to 28.57μm).
