The installation of heavy non-ferrous metal pyrometallurgical equipment shall be constructed in accordance with this Code. 4.1.2 Before installing heavy furnaces and kilns, permanent center label plates for the longitudinal and transverse foundation center lines must be set. Four settlement observation points and elevation reference points are set around the foundation of the supporting roller device. 4.1.3 Before installing the water-cooled components of the pyrometallurgical furnace, a water pressure test shall be carried out. The water pressure test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the design technical documents. If there is no provision in the design, the test pressure shall be 1.25 times the working pressure; and the pressure shall be maintained at the test pressure for 10 min; and then the test pressure shall be reduced to the working pressure, and the pressure shall be stopped for 30 min. It is qualified if the pressure does not drop and there is no leakage. 4.1.4 All parts of the pyrometallurgical furnace oxygen lance that come into contact with oxygen or oxygen enrichment must be degreased. 4.2 Steam dryer 4.2.1 The installation of the supporting roller base shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of each group of bases is 0.5mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the center elevation of each group of bases is ±0.5mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the transverse centerline of each group of bases is 0.1/1000. 4 The allowable deviation of the span of each group of bases is ±0.5mm. 5 The allowable deviation of the relative difference of the span diagonal is 1mm. 6 The allowable deviation of the inclination of the longitudinal centerline of the base is 0.1/1000. 7 The adjustment screw shall rotate flexibly, the supporting roller bearing shall be adjusted freely, and the positioning block shall be fixed in the correct position. 4.2.2 The installation of the supporting roller device shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the top elevation of the roller device is ±0.5mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the distance between the centerlines of the base is ±0.5mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the inclination of the top surface of the supporting roller is 0.1/1000. 4.2.3 The installation of the cylinder shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The radial clearance between the rolling ring and the cylinder pad, and the clearance between the rolling ring and the head plate shall comply with the design requirements. 2 The relative position of the rolling ring width center and the supporting roller width center shall comply with the design requirements. 3 The contact length between the rolling ring and the supporting roller shall be no less than 60% of the rolling ring. 4 The allowable deviation of the spacing between the gear ring and the rolling ring is ±1mm. 5 The allowable deviation of the radial runout of the rolling ring is 1mm. 6 The allowable deviation of the radial and end runout of the gear ring is 1mm. 4.2.4 The assembly of the gear ring shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The joint condition of the gear ring and the tooth pitch deviation shall comply with the provisions of the technical documents. If there is no provision, the gap at the joint of the spliced gear ring shall be no greater than 0.1mm; and the allowable deviation of the tooth pitch is ±0.005 module. 2 The arc and curvature of the spring plate connecting the cylinder, and the fit of the arc surface with the cylinder shall meet the design requirements. 4.2.5 The connection between the spring plate of the large gear ring and the equipment body shall meet the design requirements. 4.2.6 The engagement between the large gear ring and the small gear shall meet the following requirements. 1 The relative position of the centerline of the large gear ring and the small gear shall meet the design requirements, and the bolts shall be tightened. 2 The engagement contact surface and engagement clearance between the gear ring and the small gear shall be adjusted based on the large gear ring. The contact area between the large and small gears shall be no less than 40% tooth height and 50% tooth width; and 3 The allowable deviation of the verticality is 2/1000. 4.3.3 The installation of the grate bar shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the center distance of adjacent grate bars is ±3mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the height difference of the plane on the adjacent grate bars is 2mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the height difference of the plane on all grate bars is 4mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the grate bar diameter is -30mm-+10mm. 5 The allowable deviation of the gap between the grate bar and the furnace wall is -5mm- +10mm. 4.3.4 The installation of the burner shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the burner centerline is 2mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the elevation is ±2mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the upper flange surface is 1/1000. 4.3.5 The combustion-supporting fan shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the centerline of the combustion-supporting fan is 2mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the combustion-supporting fan is ±2mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal and transverse horizontality of the combustion- supporting fan is 0.2/1000. 4.4 Volatilization kiln 4.4.1 The assembly of the supporting roller sliding bearing group shall comply with the requirements of the design and equipment technical documents. If there are no provisions, the following provisions shall be complied with. 1 The number of contact points of the bearing shell in any 25mm×25mm area shall be no less than 2 points; there shall be a wedge-shaped gap around; and the ball shell shall move freely. 2 The number of contact points between the back of the bearing shell and the joint surface of the ball shell shall be no less than 3 points in any 25mm×25mm area; and shall be evenly distributed within a range of 120°. 3 The number of contact point between the bearing shell and the supporting roller shaft shall be no less than 1 point per square centimeter; the contact angle shall be 60°~75°; and the sum of the gaps between the shells on both sides shall be no less than 12% of the journal diameter. 4 The number of contact point between the end face of the bearing shell and the thrust disc shall be no less than 1 point per square centimeter. 5 The cooling water jacket of the ball shell shall meet the requirements of the design and technical documents. 4.4.2 The installation of the base of the supporting roller device shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the horizontal centerline of the base along the axis of the kiln body is 1.5mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal centerline of the base along the axis of the kiln body is 0.5mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the midpoint of the base is ±0.5mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the elevation of adjacent bases is 0.1/1000. 5 The allowable deviation of the horizontal level of the base is 0.1/1000. 6 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal inclination of the base is 0.1/1000. 7 The allowable deviation of the center distance between two adjacent bases is ±1.5mm. 8 The allowable deviation of the center distance between the first and last bases is ±4.5mm. 4.4.3 The installation of the supporting roller device shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The position, direction and clearance of the supporting roller device installation shall meet the design requirements. 2 The allowable deviation of the inclination of the top surface of the supporting roller is 0.5/1000. 3 The line connecting the midpoints of the top surfaces of the two supporting rollers at the same gear shall be horizontal, and the allowable deviation of the horizontality is 1/1000. 4 The relative height difference between the midpoints of the top surfaces of the supporting rollers at two adjacent gears is 0.5mm, and the height difference between the first and last gears is 1.5mm. 5 The allowable deviation of the horizontal distance between the centerline of each supporting roller shaft and the axis of the kiln body is 0.5mm. 4.4.8 The allowable deviation of the concentricity between the head and tail cover sealing rings and the centerline of the kiln body is 5 mm; and the allowable deviation of the horizontality is 1.5/1000. 4.4.9 The installation of the kiln head hood and kiln tail hood shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the track gauge is ±2mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the track elevation is ±5mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the track centerline is 2mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the height difference at the same section of the two tracks is 2mm. 5 The allowable deviation of the gap between the fixed ring and the movable ring on the circumference is 2mm. 4.4.10 The trial run of the volatilization kiln shall comply with the following provisions. 1 For a volatilization kiln with a hydraulic thrust roller system, the kiln body shall move up and down along the axial center of the kiln body according to the stroke and cycle requirements specified in the design; for a volatilization kiln without a hydraulic thrust roller system, the kiln body shall move up and down twice within l h along the axial center of the kiln body as required; and the rolling ring and the supporting roller shall have good contact. 2 The sealing device of the kiln head hood and kiln tail hood shall be well sealed without abnormal leakage. 3 The trial run time shall comply with the following provisions. 1) The main and auxiliary motors shall idle for 2 h; 2) The main and auxiliary motors shall drive the main and auxiliary reducers to operate for 2 h, respectively; 3) The trial run of the kiln body shall meet the design requirements. 4.5 Up-draught sintering machine 4.5.1 The foundation inspection of the up-draught sintering machine shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the orthogonal angle of the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of the frame is 10’’. 2 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal centerline of the frame is 2mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the sintering machine reference point and the elevation of the nearby leveling base point is ±3mm; and the allowable deviation of the elevation of the adjacent reference point for installation is ±0.5mm. 4.5.2 The installation of the head star wheel shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The axial bisector of the head star wheel shall coincide with the longitudinal centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 1mm. 2 The axial centerline of the head star wheel shall coincide with the transverse centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 1mm. 3 The head star wheel bearing shall be horizontal; and the allowable deviation of the horizontality is 0.1/1000. 4 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the head star wheel bearing is ±0.5mm. 5 The center distance and axial play clearance of the two bearing seats shall comply with the requirements of the design and equipment technical documents. After the head star wheel is aligned, it shall be welded and fixed with blocks on both radial sides of the bearing seat. 4.5.3 The installation of the transmission device shall comply with the following provisions. 1 After the large gear and the shaft are assembled, the axis of the large gear shall coincide with the reference axis of the sintering machine head, and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 1mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the torque rod base elevation is ±0.5mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the torque rod bearing center position is ±0.5mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the levelness of the torque rod upper surface is 0.1/1000. 5 The allowable deviation of the levelness of the universal coupling joint is 1/1000. 6 The spacing between the guide wheels on both sides of the pinion and the guide rails on both sides of the large gear is 0.5mm~0.55mm. 4.5.4 The installation of the mobile frame tail wheel shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The symmetrical centerlines of the left and right bearing seats of the tail wheel bearing shall coincide with the longitudinal centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 1mm. The allowable deviation of the bearing seat elevation is ±0.5mm. Code. 3 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the corresponding points of the left and right curves is 2mm. 4.5.8 The installation of the track shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal gap between the sintering machine head, tail track and the curve joint is 2mm; the allowable deviation of the height difference is 0.5mm; and the allowable deviation of the lateral misalignment is 1mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the height difference between the left and right tracks of the same section is 1mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the upper track is 1/1000, and the total length is no more than 4mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the lower track is 1/1000, and the total length is no more than 10mm. 5 The symmetrical centerline of the track shall coincide with the longitudinal centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 1.5mm. 6 The allowable deviation of the track joint gap is 2mm; and the allowable deviation of the joint height difference is 0.5mm. 4.5.9 The trolley is installed on the slide rail; and the allowable deviation of the contact surface gap between the slide rail and the slide plate shall meet the design requirements. 4.5.10 The installation of the ignition furnace shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The longitudinal centerline of the ignition furnace shall coincide with the longitudinal centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 2mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the verticality of the ignition furnace column is 1/1000. 3 The allowable deviation of the centerline of the burner nozzle position is 3mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the burner nozzle is ±5mm. 4.5.11 The installation of the smoke hood shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The longitudinal centerline of the head, middle and tail seals shall coincide with the longitudinal centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 1mm. 2 The elevation and gap on the upper plane of sealing plate of bellow shall meet the design requirements. 3 The centerline of the large smoke hood shall coincide with the longitudinal centerline of the sintering machine; and the allowable deviation of the coincidence is 3mm. 4 The lower edge of the sealing plate at the seal between the large smoke hood and the trolley shall be parallel to the longitudinal center line of the sintering machine, and the allowable deviation of parallelism is 3mm. 5 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the support surface of the smoke hood support frame is 0.5/1000, and no more than 5mm. 4.5.12 The trial run shall comply with the following provisions. 1 Start the lubricating oil pump before starting the sintering machine to ensure that each lubrication point is supplied with lubricating oil and the lubrication system works normally. 2 The motor shall be trial run for 2h alone. 3 The overall trial run shall be no less than 8h. 4.6 Flash furnace 4.6.1 The installation of the steel frame of the rising flue of the flash furnace reaction tower shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of the columns is 3mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal verticality of the columns is 0.3/1000; and the allowable deviation of the transverse verticality is 0.5/1000. 3 The allowable deviation of the column top elevation is ±5mm. 4.6.2 The installation of the reaction tower shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the lower flange is 0.5/1000. 2 The allowable deviation of the cylinder diameter is -5mm~+15mm. 3 The allowable deviation of height is -10mm~+20mm. 4 The allowable deviation of the center distance of the hanging point is ±7mm. 4.6.3 The contact surface between the bottom plate of the furnace steel frame column and the embedded steel plate shall be smooth, flat and relatively free to slide; and the reserved expansion gap shall meet the design requirements. The pre-tightening force of the steel frame 5 The sealing between water jackets shall meet the design requirements. If there is no design requirement, asbestos rope sealing shall be used. After tightening, the asbestos rope filling gap between each two water jackets is 8mm~10mm. 4.7 Electric furnace 4.7.1 The installation of the foundation bottom plate shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the horizontality of the foundation bottom plate is 3mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the foundation bottom plate is ±3mm. 3 The filler between the foundation surface and the foundation bottom plate meets the design requirements. 4.7.2 The installation of the bottom beam of the electric furnace shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of the bottom beam is 5mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the elevation of the bottom beam is ±3mm. 4.7.3 The installation of the bottom plate of the electric furnace shall be flat; and it shall be free to slide relative to the bottom beam of the electric furnace; and the reserved expansion gap shall meet the design requirements. 4.7.4 The installation of the furnace body shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the inner diameter of the furnace body is -5mm~+15mm. 2 The allowable deviation of the height of the furnace body is 10mm. 3 The allowable deviation of the relative difference of the diagonal of the vertical section is 10mm; and the allowable deviation of the relative difference of the diagonal of the horizontal section is 15mm. 4 The expansion gap between the furnace body and the bottom plate is ±5mm. 4.7.5 The installation of the water jacket shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.6.7 of this Code. 4.7.6 The insulation of each part of the electric furnace electrode must comply with the requirements of the design technical documents. 4.7.7 The installation of the electrode shall comply with the following provisions. 1 The allowable deviation of the longitudinal and transverse centerlines of the electrode base ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al.
