This standard replaces GB/T 4888-1985 "fault tree terminology and symbols." This standard and GB/T 4888-1985 compared to the main changes are as follows. --- According to GB/T 1.1-2000 "Standardization Guide Part 1. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the definition of fault tree analysis method commonly used basic terminology and symbols. This standard applies fault tree analysis process representation.
