This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document is modified to adopt ISO 16495.2022 "Test methods for transport packages of dangerous goods". Compared with ISO 16495.2022, this document has many structural adjustments. The structural number comparison between the two documents is shown in the attached Record A. This document has many technical differences compared to ISO 16495.2022. These technical differences and their reasons are shown in Appendix B. 1 Scope

This document specifies the selection and preparation of test samples, test methods, test equipment and test reports for dangerous goods transport packaging. This document applies to dangerous goods transport packaging, including intermediate bulk containers and large packagings. NOTE 1 This document is used in conjunction with one or more international regulations listed in the references. Note 2.Dangerous goods transport packages in this document also include packages for infectious substances of Division 6.2 of the United Nations dangerous goods classification.
