Introduction

This document describes a method for the acute toxicity test of honey bee larvae under laboratory conditions to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. (OECD) Chemical Testing Guideline No. 237 "Bee larvae toxicity test, single exposure" as the basis. The method of No.237 opens with a French Based on the relatively mature method developed, from.2005 to.2008, the chain test has been carried out in 7 European laboratories. This method addresses the test requirements of the United States, Canada, and European countries, under laboratory conditions of a Tier 1 test strategy, feeding spiked feed to test the toxicity of chemicals to bee larvae. The purpose of this method is to measure the value of a chemical (especially the active ingredient or formulation of a pesticide) by a single exposure of honeybee larvae 72h half-lethal dose (72h-LD50). The resulting data is used for bee population risk assessment. This method is a test for "Acute Oral Toxicity of Honeybees" Supplement to the adult bee test methods "Test" (GB/T 21812) and "Acute Contact Toxicity Test for Honeybees" (GB/T 21813). In the risk assessment process, this method belongs to the lower-level test method. 1 Scope

This document specifies the test substance information, test principle, reference substance, test preparation, test inspection procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data and reporting. This document is suitable for testing the toxicity of water-soluble, non-volatile chemicals to a single exposure to honeybee larvae. This document does not apply to volatile chemicals.
