This document presents terms and definitions, zoning types and indicator characteristics of agriculture in arid areas dominated by planting. This document applies to production, management and scientific research in agriculture and related fields in arid regions.

3.1 Basic terminology 3.1.1 aridareas Areas with an average annual precipitation less than 650mm. Note.
