1 Scope

This document specifies general requirements for head, face, neck and body protective gear (hereinafter referred to as protective gear) for ice hockey. This document applies to protective gear for ice hockey, and the requirements are as follows. a) Terms and definitions; b) Harmlessness; c) Ergonomics; d) Test report; e) Permanent identification; f) Product information. The other parts of this document specify the performance requirements of ice hockey protective gear and are used in conjunction with this document. Note 1.The requirements of the clause take precedence over the graphics.
