1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, signs and instructions for hand-held electronic vision aids. This standard applies to handheld electronic vision aids used by people with low vision. This standard does not apply to optical visual aids, desktop, portable and head-mounted electronic visual aids.
