1 Scope

This standard specifies procedures for the development, maintenance and publication of a list of regulated pests. This standard applies to the development and application of a list of regulated pests.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions, as defined by International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No. 5, apply to this document. 3.1 Pest pest Any species, strain, or biotype of plants, animals, and pathogens that are harmful to plants or plant products. 3.2 Quarantine pest quarantinepest Potentially economically important to a particular area, but not yet existing or existing in the area but not widely distributed and under official control Harmful creatures. 3.3 Limited non-quarantine pest regulatednon-quarantinepest The presence in planting plants affects the intended use of these plants and produces unacceptable economic impacts, thus Non-quarantine pests that are regulated within. 3.4 Restricted pest regulatedpest A quarantine pest or a defined non-quarantine pest. 3.5 Phytosanitary measures phytosanitarymeasure Any law that prevents the introduction and/or spread of quarantine pests or limits the economic impact of defined non-quarantine pests, Regulations or official procedures.
