1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of vacuum insulation panels.
This standard applies to vacuum insulation panels used in construction and industrial fields at -40℃~70℃ for a long time. True for other temperature ranges
Air insulation panels can also be used for reference.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 4132 apply to this document.
3.1
Vacuum insulation panel;VIP
A thermal insulation product in which the core material is encapsulated with a gas barrier film in a vacuum state.
Note. In order to maintain the vacuum inside the product, getter and/or desiccant can be added.
3.2
Center-of-panelthermalconductivity
The apparent thermal conductivity of the central area affected by the edge of the gas barrier film is not considered.
3.3
Corematerial
Used in vacuum insulation panels, it is made of one or more materials such as fiber, powder, foam material, etc., which has a certain support and heat preservation effect
s material.
3.4
Barrierfilm
It is composed of multiple layers of high molecular polymer and/or metal film, which can block the penetration and diffusion of gas or water vapor in the surrounding environment
Inside the vacuum insulation board, it is a thin film material that maintains the inside of the vacuum insulation board in the expected vacuum state for a long time and provides mechanical protection.
Note. The bag made of gas barrier membrane for packaging core material is called gas barrier membrane bag.
