Introduction

In order to minimize the safety and environmental problems of inks for packaging materials in recent years, and the development of the packaging and printing industry, the ecological environment will be brought The adverse effects of combing the raw materials used in ink production, and it is not allowed to use some raw materials that are not suitable as packaging materials. Chemical substances make the packaging materials more safe and environmentally friendly. The substances listed in this standard that are not suitable as raw materials for packaging materials are highly toxic or allergenic, carcinogenic, mutagenic, and Distortion characteristics, persistent environmental pollution, serious harm to human safety, health and the environment. This standard encourages the manufacture and use of safer and more environmentally friendly The packaging materials use ink to ensure the printing safety of packaging materials. Packaging materials use ink to limit the use of substances

1 Scope

This standard specifies the management requirements and types of materials used for packaging materials. This standard applies to the production, sale and use of packaging printing inks. Other inks for non-packaging materials can also be referred to. 2 Terms and definitions, abbreviations 2.1 Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1.1 Printing ink printingink Ink A dispersion system composed of a colorant, a binder, an auxiliary agent, and the like, which is transferred to a colored substance on a substrate during printing. [GB/T 15962-2018, definition 2.1] 2.1.2 Restricted use of restrictedsubstances Substances used in the formulation of the ink are not permitted. 2.1.3 Packaging package Containers, materials and auxiliary materials used to protect products, facilitate transportation, and promote consumption in accordance with certain technical methods. General name. Note. Rewrite GB/T 4122.1-2008, definition 2.1. 2.1.4 Packaging container packagingcontainers A general term for a package or package used for storage, transportation, or sale, referred to as a container. Examples. boxes, boxes, buckets, cans, bottles, bags, baskets, and the like. 2.1.5 Packaging materials A general term for the materials used to make packaging containers (2.1.4) and the packaging that makes up the product. Examples. paper or cardboard, metal, plastic, glass, ceramic, wood, etc. Note. Rewrite GB/T 4122.1-2008, definition 5.1. 2.1.6 Package printing packageprinting The graphic information is printed on the packaging material (2.1.5) or the packaging container (2.1.4) for the surface decoration and/or molding process. Note. Rewrite GB/T 4122.1-2008, definition 7.2. 2.1.7 Good practice specification goodmanufacturingpractice; GMP An operation specification that guarantees the quality and safety of products in the production process involving people, raw materials, equipment, and processes. 2.2 Abbreviations The following abbreviations are used in this document. 3 Management requirements

3.1 Restricted substances that seriously endanger human safety, health and the environment should not be used as raw materials for packaging materials. Packaging material See Appendix A for restrictions on the use of inks in the production, sale and use. 3.2 Ink for packaging materials should be used in daily production management with good operating practices and effective measures to reduce restrictions on use as impurities. Substance to prevent the incorporation of substances or contamination. Note. Due to the purity of industrial raw materials, there may be unintended use of restricted substances as impurities. 3.3 Ink raw material manufacturers (or distributors), ink manufacturers and printing companies should ensure the timely delivery of information, packaging materials Impurities carried by raw materials such as resins, pigments and functional additives used in ink production may be restricted substances in Table A.1. because However, if a material is expected to be used as a raw material for the production of packaging materials, whether the material exists in the design, production and packaging transportation. Table A.1 information on restricted substances should be notified and explained to the ink manufacturer. 3.4 Ink and its raw materials for packaging materials, the control of harmful substances shall meet the following requirements. --- Restrict the use of POPs, persist in the environment, have a long half-life, and can pass the bio-chain (food Network) organic chemicals that accumulate damage (adverse effects) to the environment and human health; --- Limit the use of harmful substances such as carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, and mutagenicity. 3.5 The date of production, production status and relevant records of raw materials used for packaging materials shall be kept for 3 years, and the storage period of product samples shall be kept. Should not be shorter than the shelf life of the product. 3.6 In order to avoid possible contact between the ink printed layer and the contents of the package, there should be a corresponding barrier function between the two, which should not be in the package. The contents have any effect.
