1 Scope

This standard specifies the pre-warning ground ozone classification. This standard applies to ground ozone monitoring, early warning and services.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1 Ground Ozone surfaceozone Ozone in the atmosphere near the ground. [QX/T 71-2007, Definition 3.1] 2.2 8-hour average 8-houraverage Arithmetical mean of consecutive 8-hour mean concentrations, also known as 8-hour moving average. [GB 3095-2012, Definition 3.9] Note. The eight 1-hour averages defined as .X-7, X-6, X-5, X-4, X-3, X-2, X-1, Arithmetic flat value all. This average is taken from Table A.1 of HJ663-2013. 2.3 1 hour average 1-houraverage The arithmetic mean of any 1 hour contaminant concentration. [GB 3095-2012, definition 3.8] Note. This is the arithmetic mean of the concentration of pollutants in the hour before the hour. This average is taken from Table A.1 of HJ663-2013.
