Preface

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 30898-2014 "Slag steel for steelmaking" and GB/T 30899-2014 "Selected iron particles for smelting". The contents of GB/T 30898-2014 and GB/T 30899-2014 have been revised. The main technical differences from the original documents are as follows. a) Integrate and revise. merge Table 1 in GB/T 30899-2014 and Table 1 in GB/T 30898-2014 into a new Table 1 (see Table 1); b) Changed the scope (see Chapter 1); c) Modified and refined the classification of slag steel, the range of total iron content in slag steel, and the impurity content in slag steel (see Table 1); d) The test method has been changed (see Chapter 6). 1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, storage and transportation, and quality certification of slag steel used in steelmaking, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to slag steel used in steelmaking.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in YB/T 804 and the following apply to this document. 3.1 Materials selected during processing with a total iron (TFe) content greater than or equal to 60% and a particle size greater than.200 mm.
