This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 26906-2011 "Cherry Quality Grades". Compared with GB/T 26906-2011, except for structural adjustments and editing
In addition to the changes in performance, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The quality requirements have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2011 edition);
b) The hygiene requirements have been deleted (see 4.2 of the.2011 edition);
c) The test method has been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2011 edition);
d) Deleted hygiene inspection (see 5.4 of the.2011 edition);
e) The sampling method has been changed (see 6.2, 6.2 of the.2011 edition);

1 Scope
This document specifies the quality, inspection rules and packaging and labeling requirements for sweet cherry (Prunus.avium L.) fruit and describes the corresponding
Testing method.
This document applies to the quality grading and commodity circulation of sweet cherry fruits.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Diameter
The maximum width perpendicular to the seam line.
3.2
Mechanical injury
The fruit is incomplete or has obvious damage on the surface due to external force.
Note. Common mechanical injuries include bruises, abrasions and crush injuries.
4 Quality requirements
4.1 Basic requirements
Sweet cherry fruit should meet the following requirements.
a) The same variety, no mixture, with the inherent characteristics of the variety. The characteristics of sweet cherry fruit of different varieties are shown in Appendix A, Sweet Cherry
See Appendix B for the main cultivation areas and varieties;
b) The fruit is fresh, smooth, free of odor, rot, pests and diseases, and mechanical damage;
c) The maturity meets the market requirements, and the soluble solids content of fresh fruit is ≥ 14%.
4.2 Level classification
The classification of sweet cherries should comply with the requirements of Table 1.
