1 Scope

This document specifies the general rules for the allocation and management of water measuring instruments for water use units, the measurement scope and the requirements for the allocation rate of measuring instruments, as well as the measurement management requirements. This document applies to the provision and management of water measuring instruments for agricultural, industrial and service water units.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 21534 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 An instrument for measuring the amount of water. 3.2 A unit that is subordinate to a water-using unit and needs to be separately measured and accounted for. 3.3 The number of water measuring instruments actually installed and equipped as a percentage of the number of water measuring instruments required by the standard.
