1 Scope

This section GB/T 23274 specifies the method for determination of tin dioxide in iron content. This section applies to the determination of tin oxide of iron content, measured in the range of 0.010% to 0.070%.

2 Method summary

3 Reagents

Weigh 0.25g1,10- phenanthroline, dissolved with 10mL of anhydrous ethanol, diluted with water To 100mL, and mix. 3.10 iron standard stock solution. Weigh 0.1000g metallic iron (iron mass fraction ≥99.99%) in 200mL beaker, 10mL hydrochloric acid (3.2), cover sheet pan, add 1mL of hydrogen peroxide (3.3), heat gently to dissolve completely in time to make chlorine and boiled and cooled.
