1 Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for fibre ropes and their constituent materials. The standard documents for characteristics and specific requirements are used together. This document provides some information on the use, inspection and scrapping standards of fiber ropes. and all safety matters.

2 Normative references

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in ISO 1968 and the following apply.
