This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 20218-2006 "Biaxially oriented polyamide (nylon) film". 1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of biaxially oriented polyamide (nylon) film. This standard applies to polycaprolactam (nylon 6) resin as the main raw material, and polyamide (nylon) made by the flat film method through biaxial stretching.
