1 Scope

This document describes the classification, marking and test methods of non-metallic gaskets for marine flanges (hereinafter referred to as gaskets), and specifies the performance requirements, Inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements. 4 Classification and labeling

4.1 Type Gaskets are divided into the following six types according to flange connection size and sealing surface. Type A─Gaskets with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces in accordance with the requirements of CB/T 4196-2011; a) AS type─flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces are in accordance with the gaskets specified in GB/T 2501-2010; b) JA type─Flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces are in accordance with the flat gasket specified in GB/T 9124.1-2019; c) JB type─Raised face gasket with flange connection dimensions and sealing surface in accordance with GB/T 9124.1-2019; d) JC type─ flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces are in accordance with the concave and convex surface gaskets specified in GB/T 9124.1-2019; e) JD type─flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces are in accordance with the tongue and groove gaskets specified in GB/T 9124.1-2019.f) ......
