Introduction

1 Scope

This document specifies the types of passengers, cargo, packaging used in trade, transportation and other economic activities related to international trade. The numerical code for the type of packaging material is specified, and the letter code for the type of packaging is specified. This document applies to data exchange and other applications between parties engaged in international trade using automatic exchange methods. It is used to exchange data between parties and also applies to manual systems.

3 Terms and definitions
