3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 millet proso millet (glutinous) The caryopsis of cultivated millet (Panicum miliaceum L.), a herbaceous plant of the Poaceae family. Note. The seeds are spherical or oval, the husk is milky white, light yellow or red. The fruit is white, yellow or brown, the rice grains are opaque and the rice is glutinous. 3.2 Test weight The mass of millet kernels per unit volume. Note.
