1 Scope

This standard specifies the general mining electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs. This standard applies to non-coal mine gas and other industrial sectors like underground coal dust explosion hazard and non-coal mines such as the use of Manufacture and testing of electrical equipment. This standard does not apply to cables and wires.

3 Terms and Definitions
