1 Scope

This standard specifies the structure type, size, mechanical characteristics and electrical characteristics of high voltage line needle porcelain insulators. This standard applies to the nominal voltage of 10kV and below, the frequency is not higher than 100Hz AC overhead power line with the needle (Hereinafter referred to as insulator).
