GB 5296.1 Instructions for use of products of consumer interest - General principles GB 6675 National safety technical code for toys3 Terms and DefinitionsThe terms and definitions established in GB 5296.1 as well as the following ones are applicable to this Part. 3.1 Toys The products or materials designed or obviously pre-determined for children below 14 years old to play. 3.3 Permanent label It refers to the label that is attached to product permanently, and is able to withstand the usage procedure specified in the instruction for use, and maintain the wordings to be clear and easy-reading.4 Basic Principles4.1 Delivery of toy product shall include the instructions for use. 4.2 Instructions for use shall help consumers to correctly and safely use the toys, and minimize the damage caused by misuse. 4.4 The toys that may cause harm in use shall be provided with safety warning descriptions or warning marks. 4.5 Requirements of compilation, safety warning, and durability of instructions for use shall comply with the requirements of GB 5296.1.5 Marking Contents5.1 Product name Product name shall comply with national, professional and corporate standards, and shall be able to indicate the actual property of the product. 5.2 Product model The model and specifications indicated in the instructions for use shall be consistent with the model on the product. 5.4 Age range Applicable age range of toys shall be indicated on the packaging, manual and labels.
