Liang Xueyuan, Jiao Liling, Wang Xiaoyan, Du Jian, Pei Hongwei, Wu Fangjie, Ma Jianxin, Huang Junlong, Liu Chunming, Liu Hongchun, Chen Peng and He Liang. The previous versions of this document and the documents it replaces are as follows. --- First issued as GB 13284-1991 in.1991 and first revised in.1998; --- In the second revision in.2008, the standard number was changed to GB/T 13284.1-2008; ---This is the third revision. Design criteria for safety systems in nuclear power plants

1 Scope

This document specifies the minimum functional and design requirements for the power source, instrumentation and control parts of the nuclear power plant safety system. This document applies to the design of those systems required to prevent or mitigate the consequences of design basis events and to protect public health and safety. It is used as a reference for the design of all safety-related systems, structures and equipment required to protect the safety of the entire nuclear power plant.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document. For referenced documents without a date, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for referenced documents without a date, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to This document.
