1 Scope

This guidance document specifies the basic requirements for spinach production, including the selection and management of production bases, the production inputs Management, cultivation and management, pest control, labor protection, batch management, archival records and so on. This guideline is applicable to spinach production.

3 production base selection and management

3.1 production base selection Environmental conditions of the production base should be consistent with the requirements of GB/T 18407.1, and fill out the "basic record of production base" (see Table A.1) And "record of existing species survey of production base" (see Table A.2). Should choose flat topography, irrigation and drainage convenience, deep soil, loose soil Fertile, good physical and chemical properties, the first 2 years to 3 years without planting sugar beet, spinach and other Chenopodiaceae loam plots of land.
