This revised standard adopts ASTMA518/A518M-99 (2008) "Corrosion resistant high silicon iron castings standards." This standard specifies the technical requirements of high silicon cast iron corrosion, test methods, sampling and inspection rules, marking casting, packaging, storage and transportation requirements.
