The outer diameter inspection shall comply with the current national standards for non- ferrous metals and alloy products; where there are no requirements for non-standard pipe design, the allowable deviation of wall thickness shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.2.1. 4.2.2 Where there is no requirement in the design, the straightness of the pipe shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.2.2. 4.3 Valves inspection 4.3.1 Appearance quality inspection shall be carried out before the valve is installed, which shall comply with the following requirements. 4.4 Inspection of other piping components 4.4.1 The surface of pipe fittings shall be smooth and clean, without defects such as cracks, pinholes, folds, delamination, dents, scratches, blisters, etc. 4.4.6 Compensator inspection shall comply with the following requirements. 4.5 Storage and transportation of piping components 4.5.1 Piping components shall be stored separately and neatly, according to category, material, specification. They shall be labeled. They shall not be stored in a mixed manner. Steel stamps must not be used for marking pipes and pipe fittings. The materials used for marking nickel and nickel alloy pipes must not contain halogens or halides; meanwhile measures such as anti-corrosion, anti-deformation, anti-surface damage shall be taken. 4.6 Quality inspection and acceptance I Main control items 4.6.1 Piping components shall be checked against the quality certification documents provided by the manufacturer. The performance parameters shall comply with the provisions of relevant technical documents. Inspection quantity. 100% inspection. Inspection method. Check the certificate of conformity and quality inspection report; check relevant technical documents.5 Pipe processing5.1 General requirements 5.1.1 Special processing tools shall be used for pipe processing. During processing, measures shall be taken to prevent pipe damage, deformation, deterioration, and reduction of material performance. Iron tools shall not be used in direct contact with pipes. 5.2 Pipe straightening and rounding 5.2.1 Pipe straightening and rounding shall be carried out on a platform, which is paved with soft pads. Straightening shall meet the following requirements. 5.2.2 After the pipe is straightened and rounded, the inside and outside of the pipe shall be cleaned. 5.3 Pipe cutting and groove processing 5.3.1 Mechanical methods should be used for cutting copper, aluminum, lead, nickel, titanium, zirconium and their alloy pipes. When thermal cutting is used, mechanical methods shall be used to remove the heat-affected area of the cutting. Tantalum, niobium and their alloy pipes should be cut by wire cutting or mechanical methods. 5.4 Bending fabrication 5.4.1 The bending radius of the elbow shall comply with the provisions of the design documents. If there is no provision in the design documents, it should comply with the provisions of Table 5.4.1. 5.4.4 Lead pipes with a nominal diameter less than or equal to 100 mm can be cold- bent; lead pipes with a nominal diameter greater than 100 mm can be hot-bent. During hot bending, sand must not be filled in the pipe. 5.6 Fabrication of piping support-bracket and hanger 5.6.1 The type, material, processing dimensions, accuracy of support-bracket and hanger shall comply with the design documents and the current national standards for pipeline accessories. 5.6.2 The assembly of support-bracket and hanger, welding and inspection of main stress-bearing components shall comply with the design documents, as well as the provisions of the current national standard "Code for construction of industrial metallic piping engineering" GB 50235.Observation and inspection shall be carried out after welding; welding deformation shall be corrected.6 Pipe welding6.1 General requirements 6.1.1 Welding procedure qualification shall be carried out before the construction of pipeline welding projects. The qualification standards and methods shall comply with the provisions of the current national standards on pressure equipment and pipeline welding procedure qualification. 6.1.2 Before pipeline welding, a welding procedure specification shall be prepared, based on the welding procedure qualification. 6.2 Preparation before welding 6.2.1 Before pipeline welding, the welding materials shall be inspected, which shall meet the following requirements. 6.3 Welding process 6.3.1 Welding of copper and copper alloy pipelines shall comply with the following requirements. 6.4 Heat treatment after welding 6.4.1 The post-weld heat treatment of pipelines shall comply with the provisions of the heat treatment process documents. 6.5 Inspection after welding 6.5.1 After the pipeline welding operation, the appearance of the weld shall be inspected for quality. There shall be no undercuts, dents, pinholes, slag inclusions, incomplete welding and other defects on the surface of the weld. Non-destructive testing shall be carried out after passing the visual inspection. 6.5.2 The surface of the welded pipe shall be free of arc scratches, welding slag, spatter.7 Pipe network installation7.1 General requirements 7.1.1 The installation process and tools for pipelines shall be selected, based on design documents, material quality certification documents, material properties, etc. 7.2 Threaded connection 7.2.1 Threaded connections shall use protective agents, lubricants, etc. according to the working conditions; they shall not affect the delivered medium or pipeline. 7.2.2 Before installing threaded pipes, check whether the threads are clean, smooth, intact. 7.3 Flanged connection 7.3.1 The types and parameters of flanges, flange gaskets, fasteners shall comply with the design documents and the current national standards for pipeline accessories. 7.6 Quality inspection and acceptance I Main control item 7.6.1 The material and performance of the isolation material, between non-ferrous metal piping components and ferrous metal pipeline supports, shall comply with the provisions of the design documents.8 Pressure test of pipe network8.1 General requirements 8.1.1 After all the installation work of the pipe network except the insulation construction is completed and passed the inspection, a pressure test shall be carried out. 8.1.2 The pipe network shall undergo pressure testing in accordance with the provisions of the design documents and shall comply with the following provisions. 8.2 Hydraulic pressure test 8.2.1 Before hydraulic testing of the pipe network, it shall inspect the appearance, geometric dimensions, connection quality, safety facilities of the pipe network and temporary pressurized pipelines. 8.2.2 Clean water shall be used for hydraulic testing of pipe networks. When nickel and nickel alloy pipes or equipment are connected to nickel and nickel alloy pipes for testing, the chloride ion content in the water shall not exceed 50 mg/L. When a flammable liquid medium is used for testing, the flash point of the liquid medium shall not be lower than 50 °C; meanwhile safety protection measures shall be taken. 8.3 Air pressure test 8.3.1 The pipe network shall be subjected to air pressure tests according to design requirements; the air pressure tests shall meet the following requirements. 8.4 Leakage test 8.4.1 Pipelines transporting extremely hazardous media, highly hazardous media, flammable media shall be subject to leakage tests. 8.4.2 The leakage test shall be carried out after the pressure test is qualified. The test medium should be air; the leakage test pressure shall be the design pressure. 8.4.3 The leakage test can be carried out simultaneously with the commissioning work. 8.4.4 The leakage test shall slowly increase the pressure, at 10% of the test pressure level by level. When the test pressure is reached, the pressure shall be stabilized for 30 minutes. There shall be no leakage in the stuffing box, flange, connection points, interfaces of the valve.9 Blowing and cleaning of pipe network9.1 General requirements 9.1.1 Before the pipe network that has passed the pressure test is put into use, the pipe network shall be purged and cleaned. A pipe network purging and cleaning plan shall be prepared, which shall be implemented after approval. Safety measures shall be taken during purging and cleaning. 9.2 Water flushing of pipe network 9.2.1 Clean water shall be used for flushing the pipe network. When flushing nickel and nickel alloy pipelines, the chloride ion content in the water must not exceed 50 mg/L. 9.2.2 The average flow rate of water flushing in the pipe network shall not be less than 1.2 m/s; the flushing pressure should be 0.2 MPa ~ 0.3 MPa, which shall not exceed the design pressure. 9.3 Air blowing of pipe network 9.3.1 The purging pressure of the pipe network shall not be greater than the design pressure of the system equipment and pipelines. The average purging flow rate of copper, aluminum, nickel, titanium, zirconium, tantalum, niobium and their alloy pipes shall not be less than 20 m/s. The average purging flow rate of the lead and lead alloy pipe shall not be less than 15 m/s and shall not be less than the design flow rate. 9.3.2 Oil-free pipe networks shall be purged with oil-free compressed air or other oil- free gases. 9.4 Degreasing of pipe network 9.4.1 The oil-free pipe network shall be decreased, in accordance with the provisions of the design documents. 9.4.2 The prepared degreasing liquid shall be tested and verified. The degreasing agent or degreasing liquid shall have no harm to the workpiece, human body, environment. 9.5 Chemical cleaning of pipe network 9.5.1 The formula and technical parameters of the chemical cleaning solution shall be determined through testing. 9.5.2 Online circulation chemical cleaning operations shall be carried out after the pipe network pressure test has passed. Equipment and pipelines that do not require chemical cleaning shall be isolated.
