This document was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1.Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents. This document is Part 3 of GB/T 42284 Road vehicles - Environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment for drive system of electric propulsion vehicles. The following parts have been issued for GB/T 42284. -- Part 1.General; -- Part 3.Mechanical loads; -- Part 4.Climatic loads; -- Part 5.Chemical loads. This document adopts ISO 19453-3.2018 Road vehicles - Environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment for drive system of electric propulsion vehicles - Part 3.Mechanical loads by modification. Compared with ISO 19453-3.2018, this document makes the following structural adjustments. -- Delete Clause 6 of ISO 19453-3.2018. 1 Scope

This document specifies requirements for the electric propulsion systems and components with maximum working voltages according to voltage class B. This document describes the potential environmental stresses and specifies requirements recommended for mechanical loads under different stress levels on/in the vehicle.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28046.1 and GB/T 42284.1 apply.

4 Tests and requirements

During the vibration test, subject the DUT to the temperature cycle in accordance with GB/T 2423.22, with electric operation according to Figure 1.Alternatively, a test at constant temperature may be agreed on.

5 Code letters for mechanical loads

For code letters for mechanical loads, see Table 8.Recommended mechanical requirements for the DUT depending on the mounting location are given in Annex B (Table B.1).
