1 Scope

This document describes the test method for water penetration pressure and critical wetting value of porous hydrophobic membranes. This document is applicable to the separation in which the membrane channel remains in the gas phase or oil phase during the membrane separation process, and the pore size ranges from 0.01 μm to 10.0 μm. The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 During the membrane separation process, the membrane channel remains in the gas phase or oil phase, and the separation membrane has a pore size ranging from 0.01 μm to 10.0 μm. 3.2 Hollow fiber and tubular porous hydrophobic membranes used in a state where the inner surface of the membrane is in contact with the raw material solution. 3.3 Hollow fiber and tubular porous hydrophobic membranes used in a state where the outer surface of the membrane is in contact with the raw material solution. 3.4 liquid pressure The minimum pressure required for water to pass through a porous hydrophobic membrane.
