1 Scope

Note 1.The reference working temperature is 23℃. Appendix A gives the hydrostatic design stress (HDS) of polyethylene pipes with a working temperature between 0℃ and 60℃. This document is suitable for DN (IPS series) 1/2in (21.3mm) ~ 54in (1371.1mm) and dn (metric series) 16mm~ 1600mm polyethylene pipes and fittings.
